Band Booster Officers 2019-2020 President: Tiffany Harbour & Daniel Harbour Vice-President: Jennifer Craft PR Director: Karen Kenyon Secretary: Lori Morse Treasurer: Amanda Overby Band Booster E-mail Address: patrickcountyhsbandboosters@gmail.com Introduction: The Patrick County High School Band Boosters Association is an organization of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends who support music education and a love for artistic choreography, flags, and dance movements at Patrick County High School. We work with the Patrick County High School Administration, Band Directors, and Color Guard Instructor for the improvement of the band programs.
The “Pride of Patrick County” Band Boosters Association is a registered Non-Profit Charitable Organization (IRS § 501(c)(3)). The Band Boosters sponsors events and activities not only to raise funds for the Patrick County High School Band Programs and Color Guard but also to assist with the growth opportunities of the students and to further the common good and general welfare of the people of the community.
We look forward to another exceptional year with " The Pride Of Patrick County” band program this year. We urge you to become a Pride of Patrick County Band Booster and to assist with this excellent program. Joining is free and you are welcomed at any time during the season. We do this for our kids!
What We Do: We provide support to the marching band and color guard units, including moving equipment on and off the field; assisting with travel, uniforms, and repairs; fundraising; offering enthusiastic support; and otherwise doing what we can to enhance the students' band and guard experience.
Annual Activities Include: Band camp, rehearsals, concerts, hosting the annual “Celebration of Pride” marching festival, attendance at various marching competitions and parades. The band and color guard provides musical support and spirit for the Patrick County High School football games and for a variety of school events such as pep rallies, and graduation. The band provides a support group and haven for those who love music. Several students have chosen to continue their love for music on to the next level as they enter into college. The band boosters supports the education of our students each year by offering two scholarships to Seniors whom apply from the band and the color guard.
How You Can Help: Lots of ways! It takes a group of dedicated students and parents to keep “The Pride of Patrick County” program great! The Patrick County High School Band Boosters Association is dedicated to the support and advancement of "The Pride of Patrick County” Band and Color Guard programs. With increasing numbers comes, dated uniforms and a need for new and repaired equipment. The obligation for new uniforms, music, flags equipment and more instruments becomes necessary. These items frequently ARE NOT funded by the Patrick County School District. As a band booster or parent of a " Pride of Patrick County” band student or color guard member, you have the unique opportunity to help promote a band/color guard program with a proud legacy in our area. To continue and expand on our tradition of excellence, your Band Boosters Association needs every parent to become involved! Whether it's fundraising, chaperoning, event organization, volunteering, or just showing up for monthly meetings, all that we ask is that you share with us your ideas and a little of your time and energy. Everyone has something to contribute and we need each and every one of you!
